Obit names Rachel Lucretia Sutton as his mother. However. Beverly Abbott, a family relative, reported that Rachel's sister, Mary Ellen (Mellie) Sutton, who lived in the household with Rachel and Donald's father, Leslie Sutton, was his biological mother, not Rachel.
